EVENTS IN 2012
Summer-time is the busy time on the Aughrus Peninsula, when it comes to the major events. The weather has improved (usually!); days are longer; visitors and holiday-makers arrive... although there's plenty to be done, between hay-making, fishing, tourism- related activities, and the like, people are in the mood for partying, participating in sports, and relaxing with others.
So....pretty much all of the one-off events of the year on the Aughrus Peninsula have taken place by now. HOWEVER, there will be more, and we'll try to keep you informed about forthcoming events as they're planned.

22nd to 24th June 2012: DUSTY BANJOS 4TH ANNUAL WEEKEND OF IRISH TRADITIONAL MUSIC, SONG AND DANCE - NEWMAN'S AND OLIVER'S BARS

21st July to 12th August 2012: THE CLEGGAN-CLADDAGHDUFF FESTIVAL OF THE SEA. The Festival of the Sea is THE major event - we should say, PROGRAMME of MANY events - on the Aughrus Peninsula.
