This website is operated on a completely voluntary basis. No one receives any financial reward for it. Apart from a small initial shortfall in start-up ougoings which were met by the local Community Council, it asks for or receives no Community Council financial backing.

Donations are very much welcomed; these go in their entirety towards the (small) annual cost of the domain name and hosting, and especially towards the direct costs (printing mostly) of promotion: posters and flyers, distributed to tourist offices, bars, shops, hotels, etc., locally and in Galway.

We have just taken delivery of a further 2,500 new flyers, for example, and these will be widely distributed; and we've also been putting up new posters.

We're very grateful for donations received, and we account for it all.

2018:
We're grateful for donations which help to defray the costs of operating and promoting this website. This year, it is necessary for us to reprint flyers, posters and other promotional tools. So far, thanks to:

- Tony Walsh

- Oliver's Seafood Bar and Restaurant, Cleggan

- Sweeney's shop and Strand Bar, Claddaghduff

The above 2018 donations have been used in the production of a new batch of fliers promoting this site and the area.
