LINKS

There are many, many helpful links right through this website.

In addition, we would like to mention a few more, which may be helpful to visitors to the Connemara region.

GoConnemmara, like this website, is a not-for-profit, voluntary site which aims to showcase the beauties and amenities of part of Connemara. For GoConnemara, it's 'The Connemara Loop', which covers a circular route around North Connemara.  It takes in Maam Cross (on the main Galway-Clifden-Westport road, the N59), Maam, Leenane, Killary, Lettergesh, Tullycross, Letterfrack, Kylemore, Inagh Valley, and back onto the N59 at Recess. Click here to visit this website.

Connemara Online is a fantastic 'one-stop shop' website (click here) which contains a vast wealth of information about Connemara - products, arts, crafts, businesses, events, you name it!  We recommend it highly - take a visit!

The Connemara Journal is the monthly newspaper for this area, and it has been a good friend to the Aughrus Peninsula. They've recently re-designed their website, and it's well worth while a visit in order to keep up with the latest news from Connemara. Click here to head straight to their website.

Connemara.net is a wonderful source of information for the visitor to Connemara. It's the website provided by DESTINATION CONNEMARA and the good people who issue the regular (free) publication "What's On in Connemara", which you'll find available through the tourist season in many outlets.  Click HERE to head straight there.  You'll find lots of information on their website; and ALSO you can download their app for ipad orsmartphone - either from their site or by visiting the app store from your phone and using the search term "Connemara". We recommend it.
