The Claddaghduff Community Hall (there's another, smaller one in Cleggan, beside the Harbour) is a just couple of hundred yards "back the way" from Sweeney's, in Claddaghduff, on your right. It was rebuilt in recent years, with enormous efforts at fund-raising by the Cleggan-Claddaghduff Community Council and all of the community. It's now a valuable hub for all sorts of activities, the year round; why, even Santa Claus takes time out from his busy schedule before Christmas, to visit the children there (arriving in style, in a pony-drawn carriage)!.
